Established in 2009, The Thirsty Parrot started when we took over a bar that was about to close down. We saw potential where others didn't, and we transformed it into the welcoming, family-friendly establishment it is today.

We completely cleaned up the space, added security cameras and proper lighting, established a dress code, and most importantly - created an atmosphere where everyone feels welcome. No more dark, unwelcoming bar. Instead, we built a bright, tropical-themed space with both rustic charm and island flair.

We wanted to create a unique dining experience in Circleville - a place that feels like a mini vacation. With our tropical decor, fresh food made daily, and welcoming staff, we've become Circleville's best-kept secret.

Our Journey

2009

The Beginning

Purchased a struggling bar and completely transformed it with new security, lighting, and a fresh vision for a family-friendly establishment.

2010

Bourbon Chicken Debuts

Introduced our now-famous Bourbon Chicken, which quickly became our signature dish and the reason customers come from all over.

2015

Patio Expansion

Added our spacious outdoor patio area, giving guests more space to enjoy great food and drinks in the fresh air.

2020

Neighborhood Favorite

Named a Neighborhood Favorite on Nextdoor in five different Circleville neighborhoods - a testament to our community support.
